^^^ that's how they get ya' hahaha :-) j/k you will love the 1911 they are finely designed and form definitely follows function. They are my favorite handgun, followed by the original Browning designed FN Hi Power of WWII vintage in terms of design and function...I also think the German Luger is up there with the 1911 in terms of historical relevance.

If anyone is interested in handling a Dan Wesson, we have a Specialist in stock. It's essentially a Valor with a rail. Very nicely built. You can see pictures in our ip section.

Like 1911s enough to own 4 including one made in 1913, too bad I can't see the sites on it. Next one will be a bob tail model.

I've owned a few of them through the years and the 1911 still holds a great deal of appeal to me.

Bought, shot, built some and gone:
3 Para Ordnances, 2 Caspian framed, 1 Colt 1991 Commander, 3 Essex framed, 2 Wilson Combat guns, 1 Wilson Combat framed, 2 Springfield Armory, 1 RIA, 1 Kimber Series I Gold Match, and a couple I am sure I forgot.

Of those gone I should have kept the Wilson KZ45, the Wilson framed gun I built, SA Trophy Match, maybe even the PO Limited (PO support was nonexistent). The Kimber and Springer TM were same class gun but the TM was a nicer gun.

What do you guys suggest for decently priced .45 ammo? I don't ever see myself going down the reloading route at all. I get my 9mm ammo online at freedommunitions.com for the most part. Thanks.

We have a brand new Trophy Match for sale if you want to replace the one you sold.

Really like my KZ 45 but may be putting it up for sale soon, 3 mags.

For plinking/target shooting... Winchester white box. It usually runs around $45.00 per hundred at WalMart.

Walmart is starting to carry another brand/relabel of Tulammo. Its called 'perfecta' and its made in Italy. $20.11 w/sales tax for 50 count .45 brass is hard to pass up.
