I'm confused. The article states that Hogan received the majority vote but they still endorsed Brown because of "his work in the administration of Gov. Martin O’Malley (D), which has overseen a significant drop in crime"?

It's the same problem in the fire service. A lot of firefighters are outraged IAFF is endorsing Brown.

Interesting. Why would they side with Brown?

"The Maryland Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown for governor Wednesday, siding with a Democrat for the first time in 12 years."

What are they going to do about it?

    OE hits it squar...

Who's going to be making the noise?

There needs to be a series of commercials outlining how "Your State Government is Lying to You."

The FOP was long ago taken over by [leftist] political appointees. If you're in law enforcement or care about preserving what's left of constitutional law and order in the United States, nix the FOP and join the LEAA.

My take away from the article:

The Statewide FOP always back the loser, ergo, since they backed Brown, Hogan will win.

    :lol2: :D

Hogan received the support of the majority of lodges but not raw votes. Brown apparently got 60%+ of the vote. Akin to the majority of counties voting Republican but the majority of votes going to Democrats.

    Thank you.
I naively assumed that each that each lodge accounted for one vote. Not shocked that the vote went the way it did after reading Vince Canales's bio. Nor am I too shocked that this didn't receive more attention from local MSM.
