Why? I never understood this theory?
If they are reputable they will correct this.
You are not outing them you just may have a bad unit or your rifle is to blame
Just based on this post you are talking about A great online seller on mDS
If its him no doubt 100% he will make it right
He's not a scam artist he's not money hungry monster.
He's a down to earth salesman with good morals...

Yes, it was JBO that i ordered the BCG from.

I was just seeing the opinions of others and had not contacted him yet so I did not want to make a big fuss if it wasn't a cause of the BCG itself. I did not feel that it would enhance the discussion at the time. I'm still not 100% sure what the real problem is but hopefully the replacement parts he is sending will be the fix.

And for the record I got a response within minutes after emailing him last night around 11pm.

Beyond exceptional service, but you guys already knew that ;).

Joebobs got me the replacement parts quick, I also got a new gas tube to swap out, gonna swap everything after cleaning it real good and re-oiling and then we'll see how she runs, I'll report back then.

So I replaced the firing pin, cam pin, and charging handle. The new firing pin has the same scratches that the old one had, after about 60rds. I'm beginning to think it may be something inside the bolt, such as some metal shavings that are still attached that may scratching the firing pin. I'm going to do as another member posted and send a small file through. It's very odd. I took the bolt apart and sprayed it out really good and then re oiled.
