Perhaps he got busy and didn't get around to calling...

Did you have this conversation with the FFL in advance ? Was there mutual agreement on *eight days* , or a specific date for pickup ? Some FFLs choose to use 10 or 14 days for a release without a returned 77R .

Considering that FFLs are getting paperwork back in 3 days since the HQL, they probably told you to just come in on the 8th day.

Last several regulated firearms (two handguns and two lowers) I did not call, I just showed up on or after the 8th day and picked up my stuff.

from ffl dealer! does anybody want to explain to me how that is possible?

    Several possibilities:

1)The MSP is preparing to do a no-knock raid at your house and asked the shop for their co-operation.
2)The shop went out of business and took off with your money
3)Aliens kidnapped the shop owner and erased his memory
4)They assumed that you would just come by and pick it up on day 8
5)They meant to call and got side-tracked and forgot

I think you should give them a call and ask them.

    Keep us posted.

Your gun shop just called and said to let you know you can pick up anytime next week.

    What a concept.

I watch it go around me every day.

Gotta' be one of these ^^^.

I never had a trade secret agreement with my "special solution".:D

This thread is full of win.

OP, it's quite possible the dealer instructed you to call on a certain date to verify your paperwork/gun is good to go; I write this down on my shop sheet that I give my customers to call on given date after such&such time.
Lou...you've been previously documented and are a well known "pisser" per your signature.

We all know what to expect from you...kinda, sorta..well, maybe a little. On second thought, maybe just a little.

The special recipe has me intrigued. Not enough to drive the 11 hours to find out but intriguing nevertheless.
