1/19 Rights event?

I received an email yesterday asking if I knew anything about a 2A gathering on Sunday, and the fact is, I don't.

Does anyone else have any information on this, and who is organizing it??

Someone mentioned something about a SYG movement but didn't give me a ton of info.

As a community we should be aware that calls for folks to turn out on a multitude of days could weaken the turnout on any ONE day that we need turn out, like Feb. 4. Why not encourage a SYG interest group to form up on Feb. 4 instead?

Also, you can't put it past the anti's to create meet-up notices that will divert time and energy away from a strong showing on 2/4. (Tin Foil hat worn jauntily)

In addition to 2/4, I would love nothing more than to see several gatherings for ANY reason, in support of Constitutional preservation, and not just in Annapolis.

There are 24 major jurisdictions in Maryland... why not have people take the time to gather locally? Can people really only take time ONE day a year to speak up??

The laziness in this state (generally, present company excepted) can be nauseating.

Same Johnny Come Lately group that popped up last year and no one has heard from since.

They have a grand total of 50 people registered on the FB event.

Advertised as a nationwide event. Says they are holding it for folks that can't come during the week.

There is a quote from MSI on the event feed, interesting. No link though, And no mention of 2A Tuesday.

Doesn't appear to be any other groups sponsoring the event.

I think I posted a thread about this a month or two ago. GRAA has been planning it for a long time 12pm 1/19/14 at all 50 statehouses. I was planning on going but now I have 3 injured discs in my spine and I'm doing my best to stay off my feet to heal before 2A Tuesday

It appears to be off the MSI Facebook, unattributed, talking about the Baltimore murder rate and how successful FSA13 isn't..

Every person who comes is "more than none".

A consistent showing, regardless of who puts it on (well, assuming they're legit, and these folks appear to be), is critical this session.

Got nothing better to do? Then do something to better things.
