I had the opportunity to get some pointers on the 3 shooting positions a few weeks ago from an appleseed instructor, and picked up a usgi sling for my AR so I can get accustom to the loop and hasty in the various positions.
I usually go to hap baker to shoot, but I’ve only seen bench shooting...
I've been looking at scopes for some time, but since I can't afford what I want, and won't by any Chinese junk just to have something I've been looking at other options to get the best out of the iron sights.
I found this Trijicon/Tritium sight setup for the AR, it looks like it would be hard...
Anyone know if online ammo retailers, specifically Cheaper then Dirt, report sales to MSP?
I heard a rumor once, an "it happened to a friend" type of thing, that after making a ammo purchase of about 1000rds from CtD, the MSP showed up at this guys house to question the need for the purchase...
I was just looking a Cheaper-then-dirt, it looks like the ammo prices are starting to calm down.
I hope that is reflected at the GS Timonium this month.
Birthday and payday are coming up and GF finally found a job, so I think it’s time to splurge.
I’ve been putting a lot of rounds down range with my AR and I think it’s time to step up to a better trigger. Squeezed a few two stage triggers, and liked them.
Any first hand advice on brands...
I’ve been following the procedure in the USA marksmanship manual for BZO. Small aperture at 25 then large for 100. I’m finding that I’m getting very tight groups at 25 with the small aperture, but when I go the larger at 100 it gets awful, I do better when I keep the small aperture at 100...

he Army is seri*ously look*ing at major improve*ments to the cur*rent M4, includ*ing a heav*ier bar*rel, a new round counter and poten*tially mov*ing to a gas-piston oper*at*ing system.
The improve*ments, if imple*mented, would address most of the major...
Here has this place been all this years. That’s right it’s been right there, I just never went.
Great place to shoot, loved the fact that each lane had it’s own spotting scope. Had to wait, but brought the Glock and shot that until a lane opened.
My boss told me I had to use or loose my...
Having picked up a good amount of .223 at Wally's tonight, I think shooting is in order. I'm venturing out early, to hopefully get there and not have a long wait, what with it being Saturday and all.
I'll take the Glock in case I have to wait long for the rifle range.
Except for the Shoot...
Do you need to take your own target stands or do they have ones there? Any restrictions on target types, slow fire etc.?
I guess most importantly is it safe, do the have RSO’s on duty, or is it just shoot at will?
Yeah I know, lots of questions, just never been there before and at least as far...
I was looking at one the other day and found it interesting; I especially liked the fact that it would use the mags from my Glock 22 (.40). I try to keep my “toys” with the same ammo so that is a plus. The fiancée likes to shoot the Beretta carbine but that is a bit pricy, so I was thinking of...
Has anyone had any experience with this product? I found a deal, hand guard and 4 low profile rail covers for $45. I know you get what you pay for, but was wondering if this was a worthwhile investment.

In this state, is it necessary to register hand guns? I bought a Glock in the mid 90’s when I lived out of state, moved back here in 99, never gave registering it a thought. Does it need to be registered? Do I need to fear the brown shirts at my door?
