Though I do stand by what I said in this thread. if you have a concern, call. That's what they're paid for, both the MSP and the FFL.
is it a 90% inlet or finished inlet? If there's no finish on it yet, I'd spend an afternoon sanding it in progressively finer grit. the finer you sand the better the end result. Then do a tru oil finish.
Secondary purchases that go through the MSP for BG check are different. Not separate laws just differences in that no FFL is required if going through MSP for secondary. Therefore private citizens can transfer on the 8th day where an FFL couldn't.
