I know how liberals speak, I was worried that there was some court case that said there was a difference between Military (Style) weapons and weapons in common use.
I don't remember the exact court case, but I thought there was a court case that said you couldn't ban weapons that were in...
Would someone more learned than I please explain why the Anti-Gunners are focusing on calling firearms "Weapons of War?" Was there something in a court case that said you can or can not ban weapons in Common Use, verses being able to ban weapons of war?
I'm confused. It seems to me with...
That kinda sucks, You can buy from a vendor across state lines but not private individual. Hummm, stupid laws.
But got it - thanks!
Cheaper for him to just buy one in his state. Transfer fees are more than half the cost of a receiver.
Thanks again.
I have only been in Virginia a little over two years now. So I will be the first to tell you - I'm not up to speed on the different laws regarding face-to-face sales, etc.
But I have a question which is very perplexing to me. I literally live on the border of VA/NC - the border is my...
I think it all depends on how you look at it. With Maryland being how they are, it is going to have to come from the Supreme Court to finally fix it in any case.
I'm a new Virginia resident (for a couple of years now) but am very fuzzy on what it takes to purchase a firearm.
I am a Virginia Resident, but my VA driver's license shows a North Carolina address, because my driveway opens up into NC. It's called a Postal Anomoly, because the NC mailbox is...
My brother recently moved to West Virginia. Is there an organization like MDS there or perhaps like VCDL? Want to make sure he can continue the good fight.
Thanks!
Personally I think you are asking the wrong question. If the wrong candidate wins, something like up to 5 supreme court justice seats will be established by the wrong candidate.
It won't be a question of a AR15 ban or not, it will be the entire kit and kaboodle (the 2nd Amendment)...
Having escaped Maryland, and having moved to a very rural Virginia location, I always open carry near home, but conceal carry anytime I go near populated areas.
Virginia may succumb to the same fate as Maryland, but you have to remember, it took a considerable amount of time for Maryland to get as bad as it is. Virginia may be on the path, but will still take considerable time before it can get as bad as Maryland.
And there's half a chance that the...
The "fight" may be everywhere, but places outside of Maryland have a much better odds in the fight.
In many other states, there is this thing where there are actually working political systems, that have more than one political party. It's hard to fight in Maryland, because it has been so...
I'm asking this for a relative. He's apparently been told by two different dealers that once he builds up a bare receiver to a complete AR15, that he cannot change uppers.
I find this to be very unlikely, but want to ask, assuming he has a Pre FSA2013 lower which was built into a non-hbar...
Given the importance of keeping Pro-2A folks both informed and motivated to help, yes I would agree it is counter productive.
[EDIT] Skepticism that is.
