First and probably last visit to Gilbert Indoor Range

I'm afraid I have to disagree. The staff is friendly and helpful; the classes are great, and so are the instructors. Again, Gilberts is a club, and you get nice perks if you are a member. The zombie nights are fantastic. Let 1000 flowers bloom, I say, and better have a place like Gilberts in my...

First and probably last visit to Gilbert Indoor Range

Having Gilberts in my backyard is absolutely invaluable as it allows me to practice close to home and not waste hours driving around. Thank you mr. Gilbert. All the best to ya and your employees.

Browning Citori 725 vs Crossover target

thanks Steve, I'm used to Beretta Silver Pigeon , and have handled 725 before. Since I shoot mostly trap , the higher POI would be perfect. I like the blued receiver and glossy finish on the Crossover :) I was actually looking for a Beretta gun when I came across the new Browning (...

Thanks !! STeveZ What a great reply with pictures. I've been on the market for a sporting 686 for quite some time but most places don't carry them in stock only via special order. Do you happen to know a good dealer in Maryland not to far from Baltimore - DC area ? The only place I know is...

      CZ-USA Canvasback* O/U

I read some more about them on shotgunworld and some folks complain on the quality of marksmanship , poor customer service and the fact that they are made in Turkey. I guess I'll keep saving for a Beretta. :)

      CZ-USA Canvasback* O/U

For trap and wobble. Has anybody seen one up close ? On one hand buying a gun without test driving it first is a lunacy, on the other CZ makes quality rifles and I see a couple on gunbroker for high 700's

I agree with Obama for once....its time to do something

+1 But should a school principle, or a teacher , or even a security guard at some school decide to carry and spend x number of hours practicing. The next shooting attempt may turn out differently.

I agree with Obama for once....its time to do something

This sounds like a better alternative : more and better trained CCW holders. Anti gun advocates will get tighter restrictions, mental health checks, pereodic re-certification exams, mandatory situational training . And pro gun folks will see arbitrary and ineffective rules lifted, and wider ccw...
