For trap and wobble. Has anybody seen one up close ?

On one hand buying a gun without test driving it first is a lunacy, on the other CZ makes quality rifles and I see a couple on gunbroker for high 700's

I've got one but haven't shot it enough to provide much useful information. For me, the barrel length is not the best for trap or wobble (too short).

I bought it used because the price was right but also because, again, for me, it's a better choice for skeet and/or sporting clays because of the shorter barrels.

Other than that, it's gone bang every time I've pulled the trigger which is all I expected from a relatively inexpensive O/U. You don't say whether the ones you are looking at on Gun Broker are new or used but if used, high $700 seems a tad high.

When it comes to new sub-$1K O/U's Lanber and CZ are the names I see suggested most often, no first hand experience though.

I read some more about them on shotgunworld and some folks complain on the quality of marksmanship , poor customer service and the fact that they are made in Turkey.

    I guess I'll keep saving for a Beretta. :)

I'm a CZ lover and have over a dozen but in this case I'd take the Ruger offered if you can live with a 20 ga,. CZ does not make their shotguns as mentioned above,
