      If you're eligible look at USAA. They reimburse ATM fees and you can deposit checks with their mobile app. I haven't needed a local bank in years. The only reason I can see is convenience for the rare occasions you need a bank check.

      You will get a receipt stating you transferred it to the VA FFL. VA FFL then transfers to the end buyer. Just keep the documentation.

      I just submitted about a week ago. If you're training exempt the trickiest thing is finding an easy location for the prints. Once you have your print reference number the application takes just a few minutes. Then you wait like 3 weeks for the MSP to get through approvals.
