I contacted Galco themselves and they stated it is just the oil they use on their leather, which will not harm the gun. But obviously stated not to store it in leather for extended periods of time as it does absorb moisture.
Problem solved, I guess just leave this up for anyone else that may...
I've heard of that problem, I try to only keep it in the holster while I carry it, and always remove it when I put it away.
I'll look into that, thanks
Yeah that would be good, please post back if it occurs with yours as well if you remember
Don't really know how much people sweat on...
First I ever both shot and owned is my Ruger P95. Looking back, I wish I would have spent the money on the M&P 9 to begin with. It's way too clunky and the M&P isn't that much more costly.
I recently got a Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster for wear around the house, and I've noticed that when removing my gun from the holster to put away, there are patches of moisture on the slide.
Does anyone know what causes this, how to avoid it, and if it's something to be concerned with...
I did some digging through the site on this but still have a few questions:
1. Would an 1897 Trench Shotgun be a regulated firearm? (It has an 18.5'' barrel, no pistol grip but does have a bayonet lug.)
2. How do I go about selling it privately? Do I sell it to them in a parking lot? I thought...
I honestly can't stress enough how spot on you are. I wish everyone would understand this. It's simple S/D. As long as people keep buying up ammo at these outrageous prices the rest of us are forced to sit and wait. I actually like to SHOOT my ammo, now that it's all gone I either have to pay...
Get the M&P 9 Range and Carry Kit, SKU 209331. It is a great deal, comes with a Bladtech holster, mag holster, Maglula magazine loader, three mags, some S&W ear plugs and a good case.
I've done a significant amount of research on some of the issues you brought up so I may be able to help you a bit.
First I would like to start off that the difference between 9mm and the other common pistol calibers such as .40 and .45 is not as large in terms of ballistic performance as...
Get the Glock 17.
The PF9 is NOT pleasant to shoot at all. Very snappy and the webbing by your thumb will be hurting before you go through 3 magazines. I don't care how tough you are, it is just not comfortable at all to shoot. Not a good design in my opinion.
Nice! I hope this arduous process and wait won't deter you from buying more. I can definitely see how it would put some people off when it's their first time buying a handgun.
