Once you make a statement like this, you have to back it up with the facts or retract it.

I need to know if any of these people hold elected positions in my district.

Sausage making is ugly, but when someone is mixing stuff from the insides of the intestine with stuff from the outside, we need to know who it is.

Some of these people were self-anointed and unelected. There is no need to 'out' them here, as the appropriate peepees have long since been smacked and amends made.

Not worried about the self anointed unelected ... worried about the elected.

The people I spoke of, are members of the 2A community and not elected officials. As such, I will not drop names of individuals that are not elected or public persons.

As for the elected officials involved, suffice to say that anyone that voted for FAS2013 or against any of the friendly amendments, is not our friend. And most of them that were a part of this issue are gone now.

    Understood...

But, IIRC, this is where most of the noise was.

Also... Much of this was in 2012.

Unaware that SB281 was known in 2012.

Over and over you two said some of these people were self anointed & unelected ... now you are going back and saying none were elected.

    You are loosing credibility

At no point did I ever say they were elected persons. If you want inside details, then step up and become a member of the BoD or an Officer of one of the 2A organizations that work on the issues. This will be my last comments on this issue.

No offense, but you are conflating several things.

Much of the nose-butting was done in 2012... when we were really growing and getting our legs under us. In 2013, while fighting FSA13, we did much better, and it was much 'cleaner'.

As for who-said-what, you appear to have mixed my post and dblas'

I'm pretty sure that "self anointed" and "unelected" means that none were in "elected" positions.

Oh, and dblas and Mr. H are in NO WAY losing credibility with those of us that know whose fighting for our 2A rights. I've worked with them both. If you knew them, you wouldn't say that. And you may have worked with them and if you did your statement is still untrue.

I shouldn't even have to comment on this, but you press me...

It's more like what DO I do.

I have spent the past 4 years with others at the tip of the spear, spreading the word and growing MSI in the communities and in Annapolis.

Not belittling anyone's contributions (as everything is "more than none", and valuable), but I don't need to defend my contributions, or quantify any effect I may or may not have had.

MSI does more behind the scenes than can be discussed at any given time, but I assure you they will be up front with the results, good or bad.

Donations help, but... What are you prepared to DO?

    Good day.

 Thanks for your contributions Mr H.
All of the people who are active on 2A Tuesday, and who keep writing their Reps in the GA are helping to keep 2A alive in Maryland. I will try to do more this year and will definitely be there once again in February

I strongly echo the above sentiments. Mr. H and a few others here (you know who you are) have done alot of the heavy lifting in the past couple of years. They are too humble to take credit for their extraordinary contributions or to talk about themselves. While we have had some setbacks, I don't want to even imagine how bad it would have been without their unwavering support and hard work.

    Kiudos to you guys.

    I appreciate their hard work.

Coworker claims to have heard Mr. Hogan on radio this AM considering some kind of rollback and claims that AG won't prosecute some SB-281 related issues. Anyone have any more info on this if true? He could have a lot of facts messed up, seemed convinced of what he heard but was missing a lot of key details and I don't see anything in the Sun about it...

This would have been broadcast all over the place by now if that were the case, IMO. I am trying to dig up anything I can on this and so far nada.

Can you ask your co-worker what radio station this was on?

Doesn't matter if Hogan said it or not....I seriously doubt that Frosh will miss any opportunity to prosecute any gun law infractions.......

Yes he should....doesn't matter if I agree with it or not..until it changes or is found to be not Constitutional...it is still the law...
