S&W Model 19, 6" barrel, late 60's -- sweet wheel gun, accurate beyond my skill, flat trajectory runnin' Super Vel. Sold it to an FFL in the 70's when crunched financially. Wish I could have kept it.

Colt Trooper MKlll, manufactured in 1979, from Boscov's Dept. store in 1980. Those days are gone.

    Still shoots like a dream.

nice :) i may have to add one to my list of handguns to get...so far my list is:
    beretta 92a1 (got it)
    beretta inox 92 compact
    sig 229 elite dark .40
    sig 239 .40
    cz 75 sp01 tactical 9mm
    cz p06 .40

...all of which will have spring and trigger work, night sights of various kinds (depending on what i want it to do) and lasers on those with rails, along with custom holsters for each of them...this is going to get costly but sooo worth it lol

CZ-75B. Bought in November of 2006 when I turned 21. Still have it, will never sell it. I still have the first pistol and first shotgun I bought. I will be re-acquiring my first rifle from a friend in short order as well. :)

First handgun was a G19 purchased in 2001 when I turned 21. Still own it and will sell everything I own before I would ever get rid of it. 30k+ rounds and counting and the only maintenance to date has been:

    - Recoil spring (X5... I know, I let some get pretty loose before I replaced them)
    - Trigger assembly (X1 - the trigger safety got kind of FUBAR'ed during a particularly grueling training, it still worked but it was pretty gnarled so I just replaced the whole thing)
    - Extractor (X1 - started to show a little wear so I replaced it with the trigger assembly)
    - Magazine release (X1 - replaced with extended magazine release)
    - Slide stop (X1 - replaced with extended slide stop)

As you can see half of that list was more function than necessity. I haven't had a true parts failure; just a well-worn trigger safety that was functional... just.

But it has proven its value through and through. Whether it looked good:
