Loaded my first Service Rifle precision rifle loads for my 223.
3 sets of 10 @ different charges under SMK77s. Now to get to the range and see which the rifle likes best.

So I made up some short 10's for the rest of duck season.
10 Gauge 3 1/2" Federal hulls trimmed back to 2 7/8" then 1 1/2 oz of Bismuth in a Remington SP10 wad with PSB buffer. Roll crimped on the drill press.
Low pressure and really effective rounds for the old double guns.
Old school work ethic stuff, they take a while to make but I can't buy what I want off the shelf so...
Wondering if it's worth keeping small primer .45 brass.
