Cause I didn't think that one through! :o

    Here's a trick for you.

Much easier to identify when you start working up different loads.

This is my patented Target and Load Identification System.

    No expense was spared.

Make one for each load and draw the case head symbol on the TLIS.

Last night I did my tutorial for a buddy who's just getting started with reloading for his .243 Winchester bolt action rifle. We did 50 rounds with a 100 gr. Sierra soft point bullet in front of 32 grains of Varget powder.

I would be interested in what you come up with for the P38 load. Are you using a cast bullet?

So I ran the test loads of 3.5gr - 3.9gr of bullseye through my Post war P1

124gr Lee mold with melted dive weights dropped at 129gr and lubed with alox

Chrono was inconsistant (or the loads were) below 3.7gr but here is what they averaged

    3.5 870

    3.6 960

    3.7 1001

    3.8 1026

    3.9 1050

I will make up a box of 50 at 3.7 and run that through the P38 and make sure its not leading.

Drove around today and scored 177 pounds of wheel weights.

After sorting, ended up with 57 pounds of clip-ons and 11 pounds of stick-ons (pure muzzle loader lead).

    Zero dollars spent.

    Cried very long

Loaded (verified the first load) 250 9mm rounds on the 250th I checked the powder 1.7 grains. Not sure what or when it broke but have to pull 249 rounds :(

I was checking my charge every 15 rounds or so on my batch of 200. It was spot on each time I checked, but I'd much rather do that than pull bullets!! My condolences.

I did that with 50 rounds of .45LC.

    A damn frustrating brain fart.

Yes but got in a good groove and was all happy :) till the end

I used to check every 25 but the last 3k rounds of 9mm was never off so I decided to check every 25 rounds. Bullet pulling only took 30 minutes and was able to save the powder

You need a powder cop if your running a progressive

    That is ??
