Think it's the same. Just no red.

I took the Utah CCW class with MMTA Firearms Training Academy (helpmeshoot dot com) and they were great. One stop shopping as they take care of photographs, fingerprints, paperwork, etc. They hold classes in several places in MD & VA, including a class in downtown Frederick which worked out very well for me. I've also taken their basic NRA handgun and rifle classes, but for those I had to go to a location near Dulles Airport because after the classroom training, they took us to a local gun range for live range time. Their instructors were uniformly good and I definitely recommend them if anyone is looking for a training class.

Utah ditched the stripe because they were spending $12,000 a year in red ink cartridges.

Heard that during my instructor's class in July.

Stuff like that makes me appreciate fiscally conservative free America more and more each day.

Interesting. I've worked with badge printers and typically they use a multi color ribbon for printing. Not sure why one that prints red would be any more expensive.

Still the same printer. Just using substantially less ink. Not having to replace the cartridges near as much.
