With regards to sitting down with the other side, I don't believe anyone has approached MOMs or MDGV to go after this together...

You would need to approach the Bloomberg organization (or the Little Napoleon his own self) for this to get any traction at all. He controls ALL of his organizations directly WRT strategy via $$$FUNDING$$$. These sheep are not working out of the goodenss of their heart. No money, no Everytown, MDA, MPGV.

It was fantastic to talk to Americans from all over the country visiting Washington, as well as foreign visitors very interested in our message.

What a positive reception we enjoyed talking with regular folks about how we will not comply with new gun laws in Maryland; we encouraged them all to take this freedom message back to their home state to fight infringements there and to restore our Second Amendment.

What a day to be in front of The White House to showcase those messages on signs, with our Patriot Picket banner and our Maryland Patriot flags flapping in the breeze - - roll the video!

After standing with patriots at the White House, PowPow Jr and I did a 3 hour walking on foot tour of the Washington Monument, World War II Memorial, the Mall, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Armed Forces Memorial, Smithsonian, National Gallery of Art, Dept. of Agriculture, Dept of the Treasury, the United States Capitol, and so much more. This was my son's first time seeing these in person. I think he was most impressed by the Lincoln. He has good taste. I'm ready for a beer now.

Asking folks where they are from is a great icebreaker.

Had a blast today, great meeting some new people, including Pow Pow Jr who was an absolute hoot, and returning PP veteran MM Jr.

We met this former Episcopalian priest who said he left the church over same sex marriage. Also said he was a lifelong Democrat from Oxen Hill who hated Obama and voted for Trump.

Today was an awesome opportunity to put a positive spin on the 2A situation. The signs grabbed attention, which immediately opened into positive conversation. There were a few hecklers, who almost exclusively threw drive-by jabs. But overwhelmingly, folks would engage in conversation (or just listen to folks doing so.)

I met two gentlemen from Canada. We compared legislative structures between the two countries. One of the guys was a "just call 9-1-1" proponent, so I took the opportunity to describe my run-in with the car thieves in Baltimore. He noted "I don't believe in defending property." I pointed at my son and replied "My particular situation revolved around defending him, his sister, and his mother from harm that was clearly going to be inflicted upon us. The only speculative part of this was whether we were going to be injured or be killed." I'm pretty sure I poked a hole in his one-size-fits-all position, and his friend was nodding in agreement.

The crowd was remarkably varied. We spoke to people from Califonia, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, New York, Connecticut, Indiana, Missouri, The Dominican Republic, and India. I am consistently amazed at just how much effort conversations require.

But today was totally worth it.

PowPow Jr asked me about what it would take for me to get him a shirt. lol He apparently has the vocals to go with said shirt. He chose to do the vocals all on his own with absolutely no coaching from me. I was very surprised and happy to see that he understood what was going on enough to participate and put himself out there for others to hear as well as see.

    We had a great day!

Need to expand the list to include Georgia, Iowa, Tennessee, Idaho, Florida, and Virginia. And Canada (don't know how I managed to not-include them.)

That was awesome. I very much appreciated his enthusiasm.

You never know how something like this will go over with a 9yr old. Apparently, he likes to participate in public speech and discourse. I told him that this is something one doesn't have the ability to do in most countries in the world.

I got to pull out my pocket Declaration of Independence and Constitution and recite from it today. The gentleman from another country who lived in the U.S. for years did not understand "well-regulated militia". I want to buy a box of those and bring some with me to events like this. I wish they also produced a pocket version that included Federalist 29 & 46.
