Hello All,

Obviously I am new around here. I stumbled upon this site when doing some research for my current AR build. That said I was rather impressed with the firearms community here. I wish I had caught on this long ago.

I would very much like to see what types of AR setups people in my area are running and hopefully make some new acquaintances. So here's to hoping this catches on and people offer up what they got.

This is my current build set out on the bench. Should be able to finish up my duracoating by the middle of next week and have some finalized photos up.

Top - A 16" I built for my father.

Middle - The piston AR that I sold a few months back.

Bottom - Latest build, 16" 300BLK - yes, that's a 60 round Surefire mag, and it works flawlessly.

Very nice! I just finished my SBR last night. I'm also waiting on my stamp and for duracoat to completely cure.


I'll post pics when I'm home. I'm also trying to plan a little AR shooting event in Calvert if anyone's interested. Just for fun but I've got something for the top gun.

That sounds sweet. I'm definitely down. On a side note, have you found anywhere to shoot in Calvert? I'm looking for somewhere to shoot my MG
