This morning it was time to bitch slap the Democrats with the M word – – that's right, time for these M&M bootlicks to be confronted with the McCarthy Era tactics embedded in their Terror Watchlist bill.

Of course, these Soviet apparatchiks just ran away from our history lesson. Watch it and then launch it into the digital wind to see how far it will go.

I can not make the morning Patriot Picket, do you still hold them in the evenings, Time ?

Did anyone ever come up with his office's legal opinion on this bill? It was mentioned that it had been requested by one of the reps. in a hearing, iirc.

    There wasn't any submitted.

To break up these 2 sentences...

You have no idea how much I know about what goes on down there. In case you think I'm just some new guy that fell off a turnip truck, I have been at this since 1988 with both gun and hunting laws.

And...YES...I'd feel GREAT if they had both Committee votes AND full floor votes and it failed. That is what I want (because I know that is what will happen), so they can all be exposed for their votes. It is why I have been trying to get one or both of them petitioned out of Committee for years, in front of them, to their face.

Y'all can go ahead and smoke Vallario's pipe. I'm not doin' it. If they all want to succumb to blackmail via Mike & Mike, then that makes them tools of tyranny.

Sorry to get off topic, but this torqued me off.

Aw did you get mad? I'm sorry. Since you wanted to bash the one guy that has provided a modicum of insurance from the true loons down there, I gleaned that you didn't seem to understand how the machine works. I'll assume you do for the sake of this discussion. Rather than accept that the leadership doesn't care about you, you'd prefer to "expose them" to voters that would be happy with their votes. That's a real winner and will surely change views.

You do realize that their constituents don't care about you as well? Do you think these delegates are going to be intimidated by your demands for a vote where they vote no?

I wish you the best of luck but after SB281, the last person I'd be beating up on is Joe Vallario. There were other more ostensibly friendly Democrats that screwed us far more than old Vallario. He did as much as he could to keep that bill from getting very far.

Did it occur to you that they'd just send that bill, or any other bill they want to pass, to another committee much like they did with the college gun ban? The whole thing is rigged.

But hey keep demanding that petition because that'll teach'em.

When Chairman Vallario walked by and the statement about McCarthy being a communist is reminiscent of the exchange about "What's is the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist?

Yeah, that lady--Delegate Barbara Frush (says dblas)-- missed Joe McCarthy Day in History class obviously.

EL1227 is working on a Hot Remix of this morning's ambush video, with added graphics. I've seen his rough cut and it's fantastic!

Can't wait to see it when it's done!

If you are calling or writing, shame them with how much MD Terror Watchlist bill is a rerun of the Era of Joe McCarthy Witchhunts.

Repeat: emphasize your opposition by using the words Terror Watchlist Witchhunts, shame on Maryland lawmakers, "have you no shame?"...

Historical footnote, Army Chief Counsel Joseph Welch to Sen. Joe McCarthy (1954)": Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?"

It seems to me that only the President and specific designees at the Federal level can classify information, and only National Security Information. So what's with the SECRET opinion?

Actually, The President has absolutely no say in the security level of documents and information, NSA is the lead in that area, with other departments providing input.

Busch is still pushing, we need to keep hammering, and step it up in anyway we can think of.

As I was driving home from Annapolis....it occurred to me that Busch (or Miller?) lives in Chesapeake Beach, not too far from me...

And *everybody* who lives down that way drives on Rt 2 up to annapolis. It's basically the only road.

Maybe we need to litter his commute to and from "work" with signs and protesters?

So that he may have no solace, even in his car.....

But...need lots of people to line Rt 2 during his commute.

anybody even know when he drives up in the morning and when he calls it a day in the evening?

For those who haven't followed every twist and turn, we took the Patriot Picket to Mike Miller's hometown of Chesapeake Beach on February 20th as part of The Picket In Your District" "pilot program".

There is another "operations" thread underway that can't seem to get out of the posting phase. Nothing happens until people agree to meet in the real world to put boots on the ground.

Check back here this weekend. We'll post a plan here.

In the meantime, hammer the DemocRat mail systems and don't be shy about questioning their devotion to civil rights, and the fact that the ACLU opposes this violation of American values.

Actually, The President has absolutely no say in the security level of documents and information, NSA is the lead in that area, with other departments providing input.

Sorry, but an Executive Order pertaining to classified documents trumps the NSA and establishes the President as the Original Classification Authority (OCA), delegating that authority to specifically-named OCAs in each Executive Agency. Derivative Classifiers take their authority from their Agency OCA.

I was a Derivative Classifier for several decades, and taught the DoD Classification structure for more than a decade. I didn't list a specific EO because they change occasionally and I didn't want to put out bad info.

EDIT: I decided to look up the current E.O., which is:
Executive Order 13526- Classified National Security Information
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/executive-order-classified-national-security-information

    Thus endeth the Lesson.
Now back to the original subject of this thread.

These people that you speak of are on the field of battle w/ US troops.

The MDGA cannot write bills or laws that suspend habeas coruus for any citizen of MD. PERIOD.

Oh really? Who gets to designate what groups are terrorists? And doesn't the NDAA 2012 deal with terrorists? Me thinks you put too much faith in the government "to do the right things" without abusing its power...

And I didn't say anything about the MDGA writing laws to suspend habeas corpus - Congress already did that.

The MD GA has no regard for the US or MD Constitutions ... actually has an ongoing history of passing laws that are almost immediately rejected by courts.

To say that they "cannot" just isn't true

They most certainly can and WILL

The EL1227 video below is his REMIX of our earlier ambush video.

Lots of added, helpful graphics and historical footnotes makes this remix a real winner. All hail ED1227!

Watch, laugh, hiss, and share it!

Yeah, I couldn't away that day.
And really I'm thinking a long picket line along rt 2 for 20 miles.
Impossible to organize, but that's the thought.
