get the Kidd speed release, those things are money!

the buffer works ok, but it's a PITA to work with the material can be too soft and cause issues and i have gotten a couple that were improperly cut.

Making the bolt release is easy with a dremel and a bit of patience.

When it comes to firearms and heart transplants, I leave it to the professionals.

    Typically a wise choice.

For the auto bolt mod, it's easy enough - and if you do fvck it up, a replacement that's already been modded isn't the end of the world (financially speaking).

I've never owned a 10/22 until less than a month ago. I did the bolt release mod at home in less than 20 minutes (had to improvise a file to radius the interior). It really is a simple mod to do - even with a dremel and a rat-tail file.

*Plus it's fun to play gunsmith and have it turn out the way you want it to. ;)

I just installed the volquartsen hammer and buffer, and used my dremel and made the stock into a auto bolt release.

I am super happy with these improvements and it ran me just under $50!!!!

Supposedly a laminate takedown is incoming. Havent seen one yet but that might be tempting.
