Already posted this in another thread, but man i love this place.

    My sub2k at play.

Run into Nutnfancy while you were out there? :)

That's a cool place to shoot. I have a lot of land available to me at my company's old coal mine and need to get some parts for a portable target setup I bought. Sick of going to the public range and waiting on idiots who bring and set up ONE PAPER TARGET and have to go downrange after each group to check it because they don't bring a spotting scope.

    Messes up my rhythm.

He's in wyoming or someplace further north i think. This spot should look familliar to anyone that watches InRange TV on Full30, Patreon, or Youtube, with Karl and Ian. Karl lives about a half mile from me.

I just discovered Forgotten Weapons. Love it. I had no idea Cobray made a shotgun. Great channel.

Yeah it's great. Another really good one is C&RSENAL

I have a slight crush on Mae

I have this 91/30 that I put a scout scope on, mounted to the dovetail under the rear sight base. I can return this rifle to 100% original condition, let me point that out.

It's always been a great shooter but was showing some vertical stringing. I installed a shim kit and cork pads for the barrel, then bedded the recoil lug and tang. There was the usual big gap in the tang area so I took care of that.

First group I shot after the bedding job with my reloads, 5 rounds 50 yards. It was insanely windy at the time, the target was moving around big time. I think these all would have been touching if I had my target more secure.

    ....

Is that the Leupold scout scope? I have the HiLux on my K31 and it works fine and has generous eye relief. My only complaint is the clarity. I have been thinking of adding another scout and wanted to give the Leupold a try. Just wondering what your thoughts are on the scope and how much eye relief you get with it.

I'm assuming you are using this one.

    Great shooting by the way.

No, not a Leupold. I'm a cheap ass. That's an NCSTAR LER 3 to 7. It's been on that rifle since 2012 and has held zero through hundreds of rounds. I couldn't be happier for 40 bucks :)

The Colt 1903 did not disappoint. It did very well one handed on the last 25 rounds.

Nice. My friend just bought one. He wouldn't tell me how much he paid, but I'm guessing it was way too much. It's completely in the white. Almost looks like someone polished it from the pics he showed me, maybe all the finish just wore off. It came with some BS story about belonging to a general or something....

Very nice AC42, Melnic. It looks like its in great condition! I recently had my '68 model single-line P38 at the range. They're simply a joy to shoot.

My grandfather (WWII 8th AF) had a '43 Walther P38 left to him by his BIL (Marine). I tried desperately to get it when he died, but my POS uncle has it, and I'm scared he's going to pawn it before I can get my hands on it. I'll be crushed if that ever leaves the family.
