ill be there in 15 mins
the smokeless powder and spitzer bullets brought about this bad boy! the magazine under the receiver gives this its shape. It also gave the ability to load pointed rounds in a lever gun.

Rj1974 you are now obligated to post pics of your lever guns! Browning guy, thanks for all the info an pics. I'm leaning toward the 1873. Can't wait to get one. Time to think about caliber.
Ill get to work on it asap sir .
Oh man thats nice, I have been wanting one of those in 30-40 krag for a long long time.
I agree with the suggestion regarding the pistol caliber rifle. Although I own, lever actions in 45-70 and 30-30, the ones that get used the most are my Marlin 1894 in .45 Colt, my son's Rossi in .38/.357 and my Marlin 39A in .22 LR. By reloading, you can shoot the centerfires for about ten to twelve cents per shot using purchased lead bullets. If you cast your own, it can be even cheaper.
the marlin 39 is the best lever gun ever!!!!!
hows about a 1948 Marlin 339 in 32 special? replacement for the 32/20
Another question, I seemed to have misplaced a part for my uberti 1860 army. (part that keeps barrel stuck to frame?) push pin thing. God I'm pathetic. Any idea where to get a replacement?
I usally find things like that 2 weeks after I buy the lost part. More times then not under something with a dust bunny humping it!
