New shooter

Hey all. I finally shot a gun for the first time. It was a 22 rifle. My buddy took me, I shot his AR-15 and his Nagant. I am hooked, I bought a Marlin 336 and love it. I am in Harford County. Looking forward to chatting on here with my new obsession.

Unfortunately AR's are now considered assault weapons in Maryland and they are banned. Probably because there have been so many robberies, shootouts and mass murders with them here in Maryland.

I stand corrected, AR15 never used in violence in Maryland, but they banned it anyway. Airplanes 'could' be used to fly them into buildings, but we don't call them assault planes and ban them!
