So how hard is it to build a M1A? And do you save any money buy building one?

Just ordered a 18" scout squad walnut stock from grabagun.com, it should be at my FFL in a few days.
Has anyone seen the Socom II's in stock?
Chris
Just to help you out, continental had one. They arnt the friendliest place and thats being kind.
My Scout is my pride of my collection. I got its 5th coat of linseed oil on it now. I have always been into ARs for years but as soon as I pick up a rilfe with a walnut stock it made me lose most interest in them.
If I could afford another from Duffhs man I would be there in a second. I dont my wife to kick my ass though.
Try Duffy's on Falls Rd in Sparks.
They may have some next week. I can't find anything online.
It's a hike for you, and he's little steep. But I bought mine at Cromwell's, down in Lexington Park. Depends how bad you want it I reckon.
I want one, but I don't want to over do it. So much to buy, so little time, so little money.....
A question I have now is about the little trap door in the stock. I opened the one on mine last night and saw TWO holes.
For two cleaning kits?
I reckon you're sorry now that you got your other half to join us, aintcha?
I'm not sure. She OKed the M1A for me, then OKed a 1911 for herself.
But she did say she needs earrings to match it......
I'm good with that.
I told her I needed some magazines to match the M1A.
