Hi all, just saying hello.
Been lurking since May, but hadn't been able to post (for some unknown reason) - let the mods know yesterday and all seems well today. Thanks mods.
Not much to say about me - started shooting handguns about 20 yrs ago, got into reloading, was a member at OnTarget for a few years, then just kinda lost interest. A buddy of mine (MDGolum) recently got back into the sport and shooting his Sig 522 got me back into it as well. I got a S&W 15-22 -- super fun little thing. Now I'm working on building it a big brother.
Also broke the reloader back out, forgot how mindless and calming it can be. I realized something interesting while doing my first batch - All of the components I was using (brass, primers, power and bullets) where 20 yrs old - I was basically making new "antique" ammo. (Well, antique if you use the definition for cars at least). The test loads all fired fine, which didn't really surprise me...
Anyway, I'll probably be looking for some suggestions on AR15 build in the near future. Now off to look for parts....
