Is it legal to shoot an intruder who's eating a corned beef sandwich on white bread, with mayonnaise?

There's no point in shooting a man eating a grilled cheese, bacon, crushed potato chip and mayo sandwich. Though personally I'd skip the mayo on the sammich, and dip it into a mayo/Viet chili&garlic sauce dip.
