Introducing myself...

Hey Folks,

Just writing my first post to introduce myself. I'm relativley new to gun ownership. Raised in England I have some experience target shooting through youth organizations. And experience as an NRA rifle instructor. After 12 years My wife finally agreed to let me get a .22 last Christmas, and that cleared the path for me to start catching up on the last 12 years . So far I have a Remington 597, and a Mossberg 535 turkey thug. I plan on hunting my first deer this fall. I have my paperwork in at Dicks for a RIA 1911 9mm.
We live on a farm so I have a 200+Yard range 20' out my back door, its not helping to curb my new habbit, I mean hobby!
ALSO.... I am a master carpenter by trade. I'm looking to build my port-folio especially in the field of hidden rooms, bookcase doors, secret compartments etc. You can look up my work on facebook 'Johns Custom Carpentry, La Plata, MD'
