Intro and rant Baltimore county

Well this is my first post on here even though I've been a member for a while. I'm active duty AF so I'm not a Md resident. I enjoy following local politics and I can say that I'm very disappointed with the 2A issue's that Md is facing. I recently purchased one of the evil black guns that are going to be banned and I'm on day 34 for my wait. I understand there is a major backlog but I'm not even a Md resident and I'm Active duty so what is the big deal about letting me have a weapon that I purchased legally and have spent months on end carrying on the other side of the planet?? Sorry for the rant, just kind of wishing I would have drove home to Alabama to buy it.

Anyhow, what you've described is typical for the Socialist Republik of Maryland. Nanny O'malley knows best, and the fact that you've carried and are apparently proficient in the use of this gun is completely irrelevant. Criminals are more important than anybody else here, especially soldiers, and as such have more rights. Only they're allowed to have guns here. And God help you if you defend yourself in such a way that leaves a robber unable to rob anybody else. The slip-and-fall trial lawyers will be waiting in the wings to take his civil case after the state gets done having it's way with you in criminal proceedings.
