Yikes....just saw that BCM has CMT MPI BCGs in stock. How are they in comparison to the BCM ones?

Not sure how they compare to BCM but I did notice the ones they have in-stock are SEMI and the BCM's are FULL. The difference of the bolt carrier is the underside of the rear of the carrier.


I am not sure of the reasonings for a SEMI-AUTO carrier but most top tier guns that come with a BCG are FULL-AUTO carriers. Maybe someone with more knowledge then myself can expand on this.

No, can't see the pic but I've bought an upper from BCM in the past and am familiar with their product line. At that price point, you'll get a complete upper (with dust cover and forward assist), barrel assembly, gas tube, front sight base/sight block, and muzzle device. You will not get a BCG, charging handle, or handguards unless otherwise indicated.

BCM does sell complete uppers but they're usually in the $900+ range.
