Don’t forget about the M1A in 6.5 Creedmoor for Marylanders! If you don’t live in Maryland then an M1a
I like the Mossberg predator rifles- they use SR25 mags, M1a mags, and Mossberg mags.

I said "Base model AR308"Money being no object? Accuracy International AT308… Money being an object, Ruger American Gen II
I have a Remington 700 Police that can do it with match ammo. One that shoots a 10 shot group like this. View attachment 456466
SCAR
You shoot it well. That's what matters.Although there are better and probably cheaper, I love my Ruger Precision in .308
Have the 308. It’s only weakness is me.I have a Bergara B-14 Ridge bolt-action rifle in 7mm-08 but I think a 308 Win model would also work well. Very well made and accurate. Has a threaded barrel and is a good suppressor host.
I know people who can fix that weakness.Have the 308. It’s only weakness is me.
I completely understand. I answered your question based on what I would do, with and without a bunch of money. The Ruger, I still stand by, for a bolt action rifle. Otherwise, I would definitely just build my own AR-10. Not skimping (too much) on the barrel or the trigger.I said "Base model AR308"
Money is tight on a "Non Needed" rifle
They are pretty accurate. The barreled action on that one came from a 700 police.I have a Remington 700 Police that can do it with match ammo.
Me too.the end I know it’d be the M1-A Natl Match Parky built, for me.
