do your friends need protection from their daughters?

I got two girls. I know what you were really saying. I'm trying to find a (very cheap) double barrel shotgun... it doesn't even have to be working. it just has to be scary. :)

So how does this work? One barrel per daughter? What about the poor fathers with 3 (or more!) daughters? A triple-barreled shotgun? Can a regular pump gun adequately scare off numerous teenage boys simultaneously? We need answers man!

    Hello Guys,
The other day my wife was bugging me about the amount of firearms I owned and I tried explaining to her I am a collector and that I like to collect everything except for other women, LOL.
Well, I started counting everything that I own or I am holding for a family member or looking at buying but I have it in my possession.

    11 Rifles
7 Pistols, 4 are mine and I have one on order.
    6 Shotguns

So, I own 21 , soon to be 22 firearms.
I just started reloading with great results.
Of course, I have a list of things I still want to acquire like a Springfield 1903, German Mauser 88, etc.
My question to you is how many firearms do you own?
I just want a simple count so that I can have more ammunition for defending my hobby when I am talking to my wife or any other skeptic.

    Thanks,

    Gmanrules

That is top secret information... Myself and the government are the only two who know..

You can never have too may guns, only not enough. If the SHTF and you have a huge collection, you'd almost be a millionare by the aftermath standards.

They can knock on your door whenever they want, but you don't have to let them in unless they have a warrant and they need a reason and a judge's signature for that. Best thing to do is only divulge what's in your collection to people you trust and don't have them in plain site for nosy people to see.

+1 on that. But let me add this: I know we're all friends here, but is it really wise to publicize the number of firearms you own anywhere on the internet? To me, that's a big security issue. I know it's a longshot (someone figuring out who you are, finding and robbing you after learning about all the guns you have on here), but why take the chance?

My response to this question? That's classified. I could tell you, but then...well, you know ;)

I have noticed that I seem to own more guns than I ever "planned" to. As silly as it sounds, the more that I see the dollar drop, the more guns and ammo I buy.

I'm not doing it for any TEOTWAWKI or SHTF reasons though. It's just that I remember how cheap my first gun was, and i see just how much it would cost me to get that same gun today. This just leads me to buy any gun that I have a slight interest in if i find it for a "good price" or, in the case of milsurp guns, if i think the availability is about to dry up. I'd rather get them while the getting is good.

Unfortunately i just don't seem to have as much money as I would like. Oh well.
