Hi from Parkville.

Hello,

I have been reading this forum for the past couple days and thought I should finally register and introduce myself.

I am interested in learning to shoot Trap and/or Skeet. I don't know why it interests me, since I have never even shot a gun, but I think it would be fun to learn.

Any advice from you guys would be great. I am currently looking for an instructor at one of the ranges near me, if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

For Trap/Skeet I'd suggest you check out Loch Raven Skeet and Trap. It's a nice public facility out on the reservoir, and they rent guns for new shooters.

Welcome! Loch Raven would be a good local place to start. Rent a gun and see if they can find someone to show you the ropes. I would bet if you posted you wanted to tag along with some guys on a particular day you would find a couple of good people to shoot with.
