Hello to all from Frederick, MD!

I was told that I should sign up on this site by Viperry as he told me that you all were a great group. My name is Robert A Snyder and I am a Gunsmith. My main expertise was mainly STI 2011's but I have now branched out to building Custom AR's. I do this as a Hobby and not a Business and I am very proud of my work. Back in January of this year I was commissioned to Build a 1911 45 that was to be Raffled Off at the Sniper Competition at FT. Meade in June. I was very Humbled by this as all of the proceeds from the ticket sales went to Project Healing Waters which works with Disabled Vets plus the fact that I am a 100% Disabled Vet myself. The project came out better than expected and many of you may have seen the gun that was called Black Diamond.
I hope to gain more information and share my knowledge when I can on this Board.
