Hello MDS

Hello MDS Members,

I'd like to introduce myself to what appears to be a great community.

I'm 32 married with two young girls. I live in Baltimore County near White Marsh, and just recently decided to go to a gun range (Freestate). So three weeks ago I shot my first .22, and since I've shot a 9mm Sig P226, and this weekend we tried the Glock 17 4th Gen.

Needless to say, it's a great hobby and I've just applied for the HQL today.

I've already learned a lot just by reading the various sub sections of the forums, and hope to learn more and contribute slowly but surely.

Now I just have to get involved as constituent to ensure our 2a rights are being upheld.

Definately the Glock. Seemed to be more of a workhorse. Not fancy but I liked it better. And of course the 16 round mag beats the 8 round mag. We've also had some FTF (correct abbreviation?) with the Sig.

I shot better with the Glock and bought the Sig.
Need a Glock, just not sure which one yet. Probably a 19 or 26.

Once/if I get my HQL I'll be looking into the HK VP9.. It's hard to say which one I'll get, but the plan is to get out to some gun shows/stores and hold them in my hand. Certain I will start collecting some older handguns as well.
