How does someone from Michigan end up on a Maryland firearms and 2A forum? Why the Linberta 01LSTAC Shotgun of course! Like maybe a few other guys out there not new to firearms, but have never heard of Linberta and their flying unicorn. Obviously you can tell I have poured over the past threads fervently looking for any useful information that may help influence a sound purchase. Being on a tight budget and not wanting to miss the chance to buy ANYTHING in my price range. As we all know the shelves are bare and prices have skyrocketed. So even before stumbling upon this forum, I snapped up a 01LSTAC. Ordered from Bud's Guns online, I actually was only able to put in a reserve order as they had none in stock but were taking orders for the next shipment. With a disclaimer stating up to 90 days of holding my money for the order and a 10% early cancellation fee, I threw caution to the wind and eagerly placed the order. Bud's was fantastic. I don't know if I happened to be lucky enough to place an order at the right time but, 6 days after I ordered a reserve, I call to get a tracking number because of a notification email, they tell me my gun is waiting for me at my FFL! I call the FFL to confirm and rush off to pick her up immediately. Upon arrival I thoroughly inspected every nook and cranny, finding no visible or mechanical defects, I sign off on the transfer. Light weight and solid. Everything in the box, minus the extra firing pin, but I never saw anything about one in Bud's listing when placing the order. My FFL commented as we inspected the gun together how it mimicked the same looks and functions as the Italian made semi auto shotguns. I have had the pleasure of working with Saiga, with that said, I intend to put this shotgun through the ringer and give a full detailed review of my findings on here and on Bud's website. I am taking suggestions on review parameters, please respond in the thread with any ideas. Attached is a pic of some income tax refund.
