Long time reader first time poster. Would like to say that I have enjoyed this forum. Vested participants and great source for those who enjoy and respect the Gun world.
Have been a shooter since the 70's, primarily handguns. Had my Carry License in CT for a few years, when in Connecticut in the 80's. Requirements were almost the same as here currently in MD. Difference was you had to take a "County Training Program" and pay those fee's. I waited 4 months to get that License which restricted me to my County. Once I obtained that License I could then apply for my State License which involved 2 more months of waiting and of course, another fee. It really should not be this difficult.
Currently waiting on my MD Carry approval.
Have a XD9 subcompact for carry and a Sig P226 9mm for home defense and have been shooting both for years.
