Hey guys
Google recently released a map creation engine tool. I thought it could have some use to members here. A comprehensive map list of firearm related vendors and ranges(those with a physical presence) in the Metropolitan/Delmarva area. It is divided up into 3 sections IP, ranges/clubs, and firearm/ammo vendors.

It definitely does not encompass everything it is a living document to help anyone who ever tried to find shady gun retailers (no offense you guys like to stay off the radar).
Perhaps other members could assist in additions. Will keep you posted on changes.

You can download the android map editor tool via the android market

The desktop version is part of the google maps website and is much easier to use at the moment.

How can we add places? From a quick glance, I would add:

Dick's Sporting Goods in Bel Air
MD Quartermaster in Bel Air
Autumn Sky Outfitters in Street
Estate Brokers in Havre de Grace

Its on there, you just have to zoom in a lot for the gunsmith and range bubbles to separate.

You missed the AGC on the side list. Its on the map... but I don't see it under Ranges or IPs of which it is both.

All the IP are in solid dark colors I figured give them preferred status.

Agc I listed under IP but I wasn't sure if I should relist under ranges. I'll go ahead and double list it maybr change the icon to stand out since it's the only IP club

You should be able to filter(turn on/off) each of the sections depending on what you want to see. I didn't go so far in the firearm/ammo section because I'm not sure about which walmart have guns vs just ammo for example.

All of my info came from here mostly and some Google in regards to locating big box retailers

Yeah i tried incorporating his poi positions but Google did not like them. Will manually add them though.

What about MD Small Arms Range in Upper Marlboro? What about Myrtle Grove in La Plata?

Walmart in Hyattsville does not sell guns/ammo.
