Welcome from Colora, neighbor! Elk Neck is close and if you get a yearly membership it is cheap, sometimes there are some real yahoos up there though. I just joined SLCFSA range, it is a nicer overall facility and a little cheaper, 25 minute drive. Prolly also has the optional yahoos from time to time.
Sorry thought you were looking for a range.

Welcome, Knock on wood, I've good experiences at Elk Neck thus far. I usually go early with co-workers, everyone down there have always been decent and safe. Of course there is always a first time for everything.

The first time we went to Elk neck we had a bad experience with a couple of guys shooting ak-47 style weapons spraying hot shell cases all over my wife. It was her first time . Then the guy on the other side kept shooting a 45-70 over and over and over needless to say we went to the pistol range
