Hello from Olney!

Hello all,

I've been a lurker here for a while, and finally decided to join the discussion. I have been something of a casual gun owner for a number of years, but like many others have gotten much more involved in the last few months. While not a novice with firearms, I am eager to learn from the more experienced members here.

It can be a little lonely being a conservative gun owner in Montgomery County, and while I don't shy from a debate, I look forward to having a chat from time to time with some like-minded folk out there.

Welcome- is the Olney Ale House still in business? - when I worked over that way enjoyed great food and drink on several occasions, on the way home.

Yeah, the area is great, my wife and kids love it. Though I have to admit if they keep going with taxes, gun restrictions, etc... I might start looking across the river before too long.

Yeah, it's still there. Haven't stopped by in a while but it was still pretty decent last time I was there.

The Olney Ale House is good too, lots of Harleys on weekends, but all ridden by lawyers and doctors....

Grill Marx is good. I also like Taste and Ricciutis. The Olney Ale house used to be on our regular rotation, but it has dropped off the list.
