There is a conservative party. It is you, me and probably most of the people on this forum. Will there ever be a 3rd party? Probably not. It would pose a threat to the current 2 party system that stays in power year after year. There should be because 70% of Americans ( white , black, hispanic, male , female, etc.) generally believe in the same thing ( laws being followed, freedom to practice their religion, not too much government involved in their lives, etc.) I am white, moderate politically from Maryland, my son’s godfather is a black conservative from southern Virginia. He is one of my best friends and like a brother to me. One of the guys I train with (Thai boxing) is gay. He is actually more conservative than me. All of us pretty much think a like and at the end of the day are decent human beings. We all get along and when I used to live in VA, we hunted together. A white guy, a black guy and a gay guy in the woods with guns. Getting along and having a good time. Actually, we had more success walking and talking then getting deer. Their needs to be a candidate that acknowledges both sides of the spectrum and pulls a political agenda from both. This is the only only way to win further elections for the Republican party ( which quite honestly is not really my party anymore, but I would never vote Democrat unless it was someone like Colin Powell ). An election needs to be won beyond any reasonable doubt, which would be a landslide. If an election is close, that is when the games start.

Sounds like you would support Hogan who is no Conservative.

biden was ragging on trump last nite for being or doing unconstitutional stuff. biden's all 'support and follow the constitution' until somehow how it comes to 2A. for some reason, that amendment never seems to matter.

Or until Trump’s one remaining constitutional path to victory happens.

I am actually not a Hogan fan. In my opinion, he should have overturned the Assault weapons ban and made MD a shall issue state. I wasn’t living in MD when he was elected. I liked Ehrlich though.

Op I’m there with you. With the SC denying Texas standing I think we may be down to the last box. If anything will change I think there will be a lot of blood spilled. I hope I’m wrong.

    I do not think all is lost;

eh, all is lost, at least regarding 2A. we just don't have enough shooters out there, especially younger generation. most are playing soccer or glued to their phones. we've gone from guns in racks in the back of pickups at high school to kids getting tossed for gun-shaped pop tarts. folks want to vilify guns instead of putting the blame where it belongs on the criminals.

why aren't booze or cell phones banned despite all the drunk and distracted driving deaths? because everyone likes to kick back a beer after work, and absolutely everyone lives on a cell phone. if the 2A had that kind of user numbers, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Stopping the Steal in GA is a good first step...

..in the fight to get integrity back into the vote. Yeah, I too am so tired of the losing. The massive fraud that stands (Biden will be sworn in as POTUS) would be beyond belief, yet it is not. I recently even tried not caring anymore, not giving a darn...but that did not work.

I have been going to Annapolis every season since watching William Donald Schaeffer throw back the tea bags we tossed over the fence (yeah, I am that old).

Hogan betrayed the people who elected him. When I hear him on radio ads, screaming at his subjects to "Wear a damn mask!" , my blood boils.

The necessity (on several levels) of winning the Senate runoff in GA cannot be overstated.

Wood & Steel, on several levels.

As sophomoric as I know it is, I get a certain amount of pleasure out of referring to him as "Fat Larry" at this point. He's a great big fat funny looking RINO. On one hand I can't believe I voted for him. On the other hand, Anthony Brown and Ben Jealous were even worse, so....

I have some other thoughts that at present I dare not breathe out loud or put into print, but I will say this - the current status quo of stolen elections and a censoring Mainstream Media that suppresses anything that doesn't meet their narrative - is not something that patriots will continue to stand for, regardless of how badly they've cheated the process.

I think a lot of people have shifted. I believe part of the reason Florida went red is because of the Hispanic vote shift. The news interviewed Cuban communities in Florida who rejected biden due to their own experience with socialism. If the left wouldn't have cheated they wouldn't have won. The only reason for someone to vote democrat is if they are living off government assistants or are ignorant. i don't think it has to due with policy anymore. Its the fact the government has grown way to big and has way to big of a reach.

The voter fraud was not a test run this past election. This shit has been going on and just finally getting exposed but not helping a bit to change the election. I serious believe that there was much voter fraud done in Obama's two terms. The shit went off without a hitch and we were stuck with his halfrican ass. The Dems and deep state were more brazen and open this election and got very sloppy to say the least. I think many voters on the Republican side will give up voting seeing that all the crookedness was not righted and nothing will change. Lets just hope for the best at this point.

I think that given the amount of fraud exposed, that congressional Republicans should make a point to submit bill after bill towards National election reform to insure that from this point forward things have to be done in a manner that can't be jobbed - I see no valid reason that a person shouldn't have to show ID to vote - you have to show ID for every other damned thing, so why not for one of the most important civic responsibilities? How those bills are approached by congressional Democrats will be an indication of whether or not they know the extent of the cheating going on. Maybe that exposure will be enough.

So how would you accomplish "outreach"?

    Go, Listen, Craft, Repeat

Go: Go to the neighborhoods you want to outreach in. I heard people say that Republicans like Kim K. and Trump were some of the first Republicans to pay attention to their neighborhood. It isn't always going to be pretty, but going there is the first step.

Listen: Really listen to what the people are saying with an open mind. The Republican party needs to listen to the problems of today's younger people, lower income and middle class people, and really listen to them. Don't just assume they are all entitled brats, or basement dwellers, or welfare rats and thugs or the "everything is fine the way it is" mentality. Listening to some of my friends who are POC, some are true blue, others aren't, but aren't seeing anything in the Republican party to make them want to vote Republican.

Craft: Craft policies and platform planks that address the concerns of the people. I want to be VERY clear here. I am NOT saying that this means a bunch of new government regulations or a bunch of new socialist policies. That's what the Democrats are offering. A lot of times, all it seems the Republicans are saying is "No" or "Freedom." Freedom is great, but how does that articulate into something that can actually help? A big part of this is also better articulation of the policies and planks.

Repeat: Continue to do these things. I do not mean to imply any of this is easy, and there are going to be landmines and barriers at every corner. There will be a hostile media and angry fascist Democrats. It's going to be a process that takes time, effort and organization.

Leftist ******** stops when the money runs out.

No, it keeps on going. It's just the food and production that stops.

Check Venezuela, Cuba, USSR, North Korea, for examples. Eventually the rulers allow some back-door entrepreneurial efforts to get hard currency for themselves. PRC is an example, as is present-day Russia.

The Party that JaeLess hypothetically describes already exists . I tout them vigorously every time anyone here mentions writing in their father , or Mickey Mouse . I give them money . I usually vote for them .

But they dither , navel gaze , and shoot themselves in the foot way more than the GOP .
