I talked with John. He said that the parts kits are expensive and so are the receiver, but the gunsmithing/engraving/finishing is extensive. Roughly it'd be about $3000.

Thanks for that info! Worth saving pennies for, certainly, but probably not in the immediate budget. A glorious contraption, it is!

Don't everyone get too drooly over my Micro Galil. After the transfer come in, she is coming home with me. It really looks better in person, John does awesome work, and Kevin is the man on the engraver. He put all of the markings on reciever. It should be in the display case for another month or two for anyone wanting to check her out just be gentle.

Not a custom built gun, but a restoration. The furniture was painted brown on arrival and the entire gun was refinished. Wood was stripped and refinished, receiver was engraved "RIFLE 7.62mm, L1 A1" and cerakoted.

Iraqi Tabuk clone built on a M77 receiver in .308 using a Lothar Walther barrel and Ironwood Designs Tabuk furniture. The gun is parkerized and the scope is a ZRAK M76B.
