Fun was having to work on a Sun Microsystems monitor back in the day. White screen with black characters. I absolutely hated it. Was supposed to "be better for our eyes."

Quotes aren't working in dark mode... it shows as white font on white background.

Account settings popup is also white font on white background when in dark mode.

As with any change… there are adjustments to be made. Just like when they changed to the new format. But, hopefully the adjustments will not be difficult. I’m thankful for the efforts of the Admin Staff.

Oops. I'm actually using Firefox on android for mds not chrome. I tried Chrome and it shows white on white but if you set chrome to view the desktop version of the site the quotes are white on a gray background.

Desktop version of site looks good on my tablet but I don't care for it on my phone.

Oh, that's funny.

In vertical (portrait) mode the comments are white on white. Rotate the phone to landscape and you can suddenly see the quotes, because it goes to desktop mode.

Back in the day I would buy my people terminals with amber characters on a dark background because it was supposed to be best for your eyes. They hated it. F-them.

I liked the old amber screens. The emerald green ones weren't bad, but the amber was better. When I install a linux distro I usually set the terminal emulator (terminator) default colors to those shades.
