    Admin,

I searched, couldn’t find any info.

Is there… or could there be, a Dark Mode for this forum? It would help the eyes when on the cell phone.

    Thanks

Other xenforo platforms that I work with offer this, it should be an available option.. I use it over the white background on the other forums as well.

I guess I’ve only seen dark mode in the gps. I’d be curious to see how it looks when online, texting etc

I use it on every device and every site that has the option. Email, browser, text, etc.

So — what jailbreak do we use to pull this off? F.lux says I gotta JB 1st.
F.lux affects your whole phone, that is a separate topic.

A dark mode theme for this website will not require jailbreaking or rooting your phone, just clicking an option in your prefs.

I’ve tried dark mode on other websites. To me, it seems that I squint more trying to red the text.

iOS devices have a “Night Shift” mode that you can either schedule or use, which softens the harsh light from a screen. I think Windows 10 has it too.

Meanwhile , hidden in the Options , most smartphones have the capability for " night setting " or similar term, that reduces ( whatever spectrum causes eye strain in the dark. Either manually turn on and off , or p'x_

If it automatically kicks in/ out while you're using you'll notice . If you pick it up after its in dark mode , likely not .
