Well, I finally got around to filling out my paperwork and contacting my CLEO. Now I just have to stuff the apps in an envelope, and send 'em out. :)

Darn it. I'm all out of envelopes. :(

Sending him or her their copy is all the contact with your CLEO you need to provide.

This I know, but I had to get an address to send it to. :)

Found his email address on the city gov't website, fired off an email and he sent back his contact info in less than 4 hours.

    Quick Question:

Maryland C&R (FFL3) wishes to sell bona fide C&R piece to:

    Non C&R Buyer in Virginia.......

Seems a VA. FFL must be used to do transfer......

    Right??

If you are talking about a rifle, they can come to your house and purchase it.
Q: Can a licensed collector sell a curio or relic shotgun or rifle to a nonlicensed resident of another State?
Yes. A licensed collector is specifically authorized to sell a curio or relic shotgun or rifle to a nonlicensed resident of another State so long as 1) The purchaser meets with the licensee in person at the licensee’s premises to accomplish the transfer, sale, and delivery of the rifle or shotgun; and 2) The sale, delivery, and receipt of the rifle or shotgun fully comply with the legal conditions of sale in both such States

    Some stupid questions for clarity:
Under section 9 what are they looking for in regard to position?
On the Signature line where it says title, what are they looking for?
If I am a US citizen do I need to fill out 5330.20?

I mailed in my app to ATF and copy to the CLEO today.

Lord have mercy on my bank account.

Wifey has been excited since I told her she could buy as much in shoes as I buy in guns. :)

Anyway, besides this thread and others here on MDS, I found these links to be really useful:

That's pretty much it. Now which M1 Garand to buy?...
It still hurts to think that I passed up the ones in the late 70's that were being sold by uncle Sam for $64 shipped.
