Most tactical- combat shotguns have rails for optics. Are there really significant advantages of using optics in a combat shotgun?

The Benelli M4 with the C- stock is an example. Is this shotgun really optimized with opics as the partially retracted stock makes the iron sight useless as the become too low in relation to the stock. Or maybe, its a design flaw.

We don't need these weapons of war on our streets or in our homes. Combat shotguns should be banned, if it has features like, a trigger, a barrel, either a grip or a stock, it is a killing machine, a danger to our children and law enforcement.

Yeah, calling something a combat shotgun in Maryland probably isn't a good idea.

Here is my 935.10rnd tube, fiber optic front, lightened rail rear sight optic mount. I use it like this for resident geese, with a red dot for 3gun and a scope with a rifled barrel for deer, rifled barrel without the scope for HD. Hey Joey did you and Brad have your shoot off? Maybe we could race tomorrow?

Still have my PM with info? Brad already knows the way. He has to drive past me to get to MG. I have throwers mounted on the back deck and no 1sec rule. Maybe Inigoes could bring the KEG for pistol skeet against my son.

Met up with Buddies at MG and spent a couple of hours shooting shotguns.
We compared different combat shotguns. In th lineup were
    Benelli m4
    Benelli m2
    Benelli m1
    saiga12 conversion
    Keltec KSG

All functioned well and it is hard to pick one over the other. Shot buckshots and slugs. Suprisingly, my shoulder is still attached.

As usual... CrazyAl went full retard on buckshots and slugs.

( btw,no target stands were harmed in this event)

I was in VA all weekend, so I didn't know there was anything going on at MG.

May have came back early if I'd have known... :innocent0

At least it was nice to be in a somewhat free state for 48 hours, although traffic has gotten worse since I moved out of VA.

Always game for a shotty play day. Got some boxes of shells, and a uprgaded trigger group - this one should hold up, hopefully.
