Christie is a Marxist for certain. Wants to steal my Social Security.

The gooberment's been doin' that for years.

From where I sit, it was "stolen" the day Roosevelt had to lie about the money YOU put into it being set aside for YOU and YOU alone.

    Apologies for the poor audio.

Christie getting real defensive over his 2A record.
This was during a town hall in Iowa.

He supported the AWB in New Jersey. Terrible on 2A but I would vote for him in general against any Dem or socialist who may be their nomination.

Wow- his reputation as being a huge a-hole is well earned.

The guy holds up an ad of him calling for an AWB and Chistie says "that was 20 hrs ago, haven't you ever changed your mind in your life?" And notice his language is that if the left. Never a full/unqualified endorsement of 2A but rather gibberish about never signing anything bad or that he's for "legal" guns...we just have to hope that he doesn't decide that an entire class of guns should be banned like he did in 1995.

No wonder he's at 3pct in the primary polls. Huge wanker.

Edit- and the fat ass can't even lose weight a year after gastric bypass surgery! Talk about a real pitiful slob.

My post on the Huffington Puffington:

Governor Christie: "Help me out!, help me out!"

Ok, Christie, let me HELP YOU OUT!!!

From his gubernatorial campaign fact sheet:

FACT: Chris Christie supports the assault weapons ban and all current gun laws. He opposes attempts to permit conceal and carry laws in New Jersey – hardly the NRA position.

His New Jersey guido bully tactics aren’t going to fly in the national arena. He supported the so-called assault weapon ban.

He is a lying, bullying POS.

What was his quote on Hollowpoints? I think someone posted a quote asking why would anyone need armor piercing hollow point ammo which is wrong on several levels.

Nope...done playing their game. If it's between this jerkoff and Hill Girl; crash it faster! Yes, I mean it!

No way in hell, NONE! That I will ever pull the lever for Chrispy Cream. NONE! Same goes for Jeb Bush.

They, like their US Senate establishment buddies, are progressive trolls whom are moderate left leaning "compassionate" (whatever that means) "conservatives."

No way! We don't need another John Roberts on the bench; see where that's gotten us lately. With a justice like that, you might as well ad another "wise Latina."

google is your friend, I am not.
There are at least a dozen candidates on the R side that I would vote for before Christie. He is very low on my list. If it came down to choosing him or Hillary (or dare I say it, Martian)... I would be forced to vote third party.

At the risk of repeating myself, a vote for a third party is a vote for Billary. Christie has little chance except maybe as VP. maybe. But ill vote for not-Billary with a nose clip

In MD there is little suspense as to how the electoral votes will go. MD's delegates will go D.... it is just a numbers game. If MD was in play, I would agree with you.

Depends on the candidate. Hogan DID win, you know.

The game in Maryland by the way won't necessarily be to win, but to make a strong enough showing that the Dems are forced to spend money they otherwise would not. Of course, a win would be nice too.

the electoral college needs to go imo. I'm tired of my vote not mattering

So you want a president elected by popular vote? No thanks, remember the line about two wolves and a sheep voting for what to have for dinner.

The Founding Father's made brilliant decisions on how best to develop a Government. People have tried to "fix" it before and screwed the balance up (re: 17th Amend.).

The problem with our current electoral college system now is not all of our votes matter equally. In states that are "winner take all" the votes for the other candidate don't matter. Like here in MD where our non-D votes could actually matter.

It seems to me to be a more democratic system to have all votes matter. It takes more of the games out of the politics.

If we got rid of EC there might also be less pandering to voting blocks: farm subsidies in Ohio or elderly subsidies in FL, for example.

Now all that said, there have been, what 3 times in US history, where popular vote did not match electoral college vote? I'm not sure it matters. I think it will definitely change how the game is played if candidates changed from being "most popular with some" to "most popular with all".
