I’m planning on going to a food truck event at a firehouse (Long Green VFC) and I’m wondering if I can carry there. I know I can’t carry in a government building, but is a VFC a government building? If I can’t carry inside, can I carry on the grounds, outside?

    Thanks!

    Some possible options:
    Call and ask.
    Call your lawyer
    Call Senator Waldstreicher
Check the Bruen decision, look for history, tradition and analogues
    Check for metal detectors
    Go unarmed
    Stay home.

    ...up your conceal game.

Other than needing it to defend your life I'm struggling to imagine a scenario where anybody, other than I, would know??

OP's only been here for two months. Think he's got a handgun permit?

    Maybe a "fishing" license?

    Good for you!!

Be careful, it's a jungle out there, filled with marauding prosecutors!

Welcome to the holster collection society! It took me a good minute to figure out what worked best for me. May your journey be simpler.

LOL.. You're not kidding. I got the one with the gun, then I bought one, and just order another one. If this 3rd one doesn't feel decent, I'll try a leather one. If that doesn't work, I'll just go with it's never going to be comfortable.

I just got my protection last week so I'm trying to carry and get comfortable with it...

I'm convinced that the object is to reduce your discomfort to a tolerable level, and maintain access and invisibility.

    I've gotten close enough.

What're you carrying, if I may ask?

I picked up a P365. I’ve got an order in for a Shield Plus too. So once I get closer to the 30 day wait, in the next couple weeks, I’ll be looking for a holster for it too.
