have had good luck with the brass, but as mentioned Aluminum has given me some problems

I have always found Magtech to be really accurate. I strongly prefer 124gr for 9mm.

Ugh...I always think Blazer is high quality and I bought it to support American jobs. I do like Magtech and their smaller box size to save space. Never understood how Magtech can make it so small but Blazer's box is bigger.
I tried Blazer aluminum when it first hit the market years ago. It worked fine...accuracy was acceptable...but was the dirtiest ammunition I ever used. I haven't bought or used it since.
Factory Pistol ammo. Did they all go bang and exit the muzzle? = not necessarily Garbage.
Seems like another range trip shooing from a supported position comparing the 2 ammo is in order.
I fully expect you will find Blazer on the short end but at least gives a better apples to apples comparison.

I don't need to shoot from a supported position thank you
. So I drilled the 7 yard circles quick fire, and then I shoot bad at 15? I don't miss like that at 15. Ever.

Anyone have experience with https://www.freedommunitions.com/9mm-luger-124-gr-hp-promatch-new.html ("freedom munitions promatch)?? (I just went through 1K of Blazer). What other 9mm ammo would you folks recommend (Something that can bridge both target and comp if possible).
I love Freedom. That's what I usually get. I just shot it all up last month.

Roger...much appreciated. Gonna hit the 'pay button'. I get to resupply as long as my wife keeps buying skin care crap...now THAT is expensive.
I laughed out loud!*****Mebbe the Blazer Ammo you used was only designed for 3 yards rapid fire testing? Sometimes, like with a wife, you get one with a bad box...
But yea... Blazer is cheap for a reason I guess. Match ammo it ain't.

Maybe the recoil is too strong for ya and it is inducing a flinch. Have ya tried some of that Fawty? I heard it has a nice sweet impulse for delicate hands.
I think the move is to avoid anything in a black/gold/yellow/copper box altogether.

before 2020 I shot nearly 2 bricks of blazer brass 9mm in a ruger sr9 had one stovepipe, 2 ftf. I didn't notice any grouping worse that my normal inaccuracy. I wonder if they changed something in the manufacturing.

Uh yeah it is. Also some of the dirtiest burning ammo. Hands and pistol with black crap all over after shooting a box or two.

Just curious..(not a rhetorical question). What makes some ammo dirtier than other ammo? Is it the purity/chemical makeup of the propellant?
