My son was/is an avid history buff. The teacher was wrong. They teach leftist history and want to remove anything to do with the civil war, slaves and racism from the U.S. Sad but true. A lot of the wiki pages have been changed to reflect this, complete chapters in history books erased or removed.

From the historical, stratigic viewpoint, Patton was a brillient general. Men who served under him in WWII told me he could be a prick.
